Consumer Health Data Privacy Policy

Last updated: June 2026

This Consumer Health Data Privacy Policy supplements our Privacy Policy and applies to "consumer health data" ("CHD") as defined by laws including Washington's My Health My Data Act (MHMDA), Nevada's consumer health-data law (SB 370), and the Connecticut Data Privacy Act (CTDPA). Our products are sold for laboratory Research Use Only and are not health-care services; we do not seek to collect health information. This Policy describes the limited circumstances in which data we process could be considered CHD and the rights available to you.

Categories of CHD We May Collect

We do not request or require health information to use the Services. To the extent the following is treated as CHD under applicable law, it is limited to:

  • Inferences drawn from the research products you browse or purchase;
  • Information you voluntarily include in messages to us (e.g., a support or lab-support request);
  • Information you voluntarily post in the community forum.

Sources of CHD

Where applicable, such data comes from:

  • Directly from you, when you contact us, post in the forum, or place an order;
  • Automatically, through cookies and similar technologies that record your interactions with the Services.

Purposes for Collection of CHD

To the extent we process any CHD, we use it only to:

  • Process and support your orders and respond to your requests;
  • Operate, secure, and improve the Services;
  • Comply with legal obligations.
  • We do not use CHD to make decisions about health care and we do not sell CHD.

How and Why We Share CHD

We do not sell consumer health data. Where applicable, we may share limited data only with service providers who process it on our behalf (for example, hosting, payment, shipping, and analytics) under contracts that restrict their use, or as required by law. We obtain your consent where required before collecting or sharing CHD for purposes beyond providing the Services.

How to Exercise Your MHMDA, Nevada, or CTDPA Rights

Subject to applicable law, you may request to access the CHD we have collected, request that we delete it, and withdraw any consent you previously provided. You may submit a request by emailing us at the address below or through Your Privacy Choices.

We will verify your request as required by law and respond within the timeframe the law allows. You may use an authorized agent to submit a deletion request on your behalf. We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights.

Updates to This Policy

We may update this Consumer Health Data Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes are indicated by updating the “Last updated” date above.
